Spokane River Cleanup Day
Sean Visintainer - 09/01/16

Love the Spokane River? Get involved.
September 17th marks the 13th Annual Spokane River Cleanup brought to you by the Spokane River Forum, The Lands Council and numerous other partners. Silver Bow has attended this event before and it's quite impressive to see how many volunteers show up to pick trash along the Spokane River. Last year had over 600 participants that removed 4 tons of debris just from High Bridge Park to the University District.
This year the River Cleanup is expanding to the Spokane Valley and also includes some volunteer work for planting at the new Island's Trailhead Boat Slide Access.
If you are interested in participating, whether a solo volunteer or a group, please register on the Spokane River Forum's website and show the Spokane River some love!
