Still snow...

North Fork Clearwater / Kelly Creek Update (June 8th) - Bo called the North Fork Ranger district this morning. There is still 4ft of snow on top of Hoodoo Pass. They do not plow Hoodoo Pass. It snowed 2 inches last night there, just to give you an idea of how cold the temps are and why there is still snow up there.

You can access the lower North Fork Clearwater and Kelly Creek via Pierce, ID. There is a landslide near Fix Creek on the NF CW. The upper NF CW is accessible via Deception Saddle, ABSOLUTELY NO TRAILERS ALLOWED on this road, it is not suitable for trailer travel and multiple have already had to be towed out. The upper NF CW has not been cleared of any downed trees / debris. Cedars campground is technically open, however there is no services there (water, etc).

Currently this area is under staffed for getting all of these items addressed and fixed so be patient and make plans accordingly.
