St Joe and North Fork Coeur d'Alene Idaho River Fly Fishing Guide

With a passion for fly fishing and cutthroat, guiding rivers like the St. Joe and NF Coeur d'Alene was a perfect fit for Bill who has been fly fishing since the age of 14. After many years in the construction business as a carpenter Bill spent the last 12 years of his career building houses. As Bill says, "Guiding has been my dream retirement gig." Having fished many of the major rivers in Idaho, western Montana, eastern Washington and numerous tributaries and high alpine lakes Bill's favorite place is to be anywhere in the wilderness, the further out the better. Having an addiction to cutthroat and a love for golfing, Bill enjoys the southeast British Columbia area where both great trout rivers and golf course go hand in hand. When Bill isn't fishing, golfing, or guiding he enjoys tying flies and hiking.
