Scientific Anglers' MPX taper line is the go-to, all around performance line for today's modern graphite rods. Replacing the iconic GPX taper was no easy task, so the folks at Scientific Anglers built the MPX with the same benefits of the GPX, but with a little more finesse. Built a half-size heavy to load fast rods, turn over stoneflies and indicators, and deal with wind, the MPX now takes those highly desirable characteristics and allows you to do that with more finesse when the trout get fussy.
