  • The Fishing

Fishing on the lower Spokane River has been picking up this month. The longer nights and slightly cooler weather have helped. Not much for bugs this time of the year, soon we will have some October caddis, fall caddis, and bwo's... but nothing yet. The guide crew has had good trips this week. It's still and will continue to be a chubby / dropper game. You can of course bobber or euro any day of the season as well.

  • The Fishing

Not much for reports from the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene River. The levels are low so you need to look for areas with depth. Try fishing smaller flies (dries or nymphs) for picky fish. A hopper, caddis, or small chubby can get some interest, but often times a small pattern will get the eat.

  • The Fishing

The St. Joe River has been a good option lately and will continue for the foreseeable future. Hoppers, small chubbies, October caddis, mahogany duns, purple haze all on the menu. Run some droppers under your hoppers or chernobyls, something tungsten in the perdigon variety will get it done.

  • The Fishing

Very good reports from the North Fork of the Clearwater and Kelly Creek. Lots of bugs still working... hoppers, chernobyls, etc. October caddis fishing in the afternoons has been great. Streamer fishing has been good too.
