  • The Fishing

Good fishing on the Spokane River reports our guide crew. The chernobyls with droppers are doing very well. Smaller techy perdigon or spanish bullets have been good for droppers. Sean W. our guide said there has been some bwo hatches later in the day. Fall caddis and October caddis should be starting soon. Streamer fishing has also been good here.

  • The Fishing

Fishing has been good on the North Fork of the Coeur d'Alene. It's coming out of late summer mode and getting more fall-ish style fishing. Pack some October caddis for the afternoons, caddis, bwo's, and terrestrials should round out the hatches. No reports of Mahoganies but they should be any day. A dropper under a hopper or October caddis is a good prospecting tactic.

  • The Fishing

Great reports from the St. Joe River as of late. It's more fall style fishing here. The afternoons are definitely good October caddis fishing. You can still fish terrestrials though and definitely pack some bwo's and Mahogany duns. A hopper / dropper or October caddis with a dropper is a good prospecting choice. Streamer fishing has also been picking up.

  • The Fishing

The North Fork of the Clearwater / Kelly Creek has been very good lately. Like the St. Joe River they are fishing like they normally in the fall. October caddis have been productive, terrestrials are still producing until you have a couple hard frost which isn't likely with this warm weather, some small parachutes like bwos, purple haze, etc for shits and giggles will work. Streamer fishing has been excellent especially for larger cutts.

  • The Fishing

Bo's steelhead report... cast have been made, grabs have been had, and fish have been landed. The Grande Ronde is a touch on the early side, the Clearwater is the better choice currently, but the GR and Snake will start to get more productive on 9/28/25 at exactly 1:44pm Pacific Time.
