Abel's AYA is not only designed with technical good looks, it's crafted to protect delicate tippet with it's wide range of drag settings. The drag system is built with carbon and stainless multi-disk drags that offer smooth, yet powerful resistance. Line is quickly picked up thanks to the large arbor spool design and wobble is eliminated with the precision balanced, dual pawl drag engagement design that eliminates the need for an external counterweight.
