Trick or Trout

Fall Fishing on the Spokane River.

No complaints this fall.

Man oh man what a fantastic October we have had! Lots of sunshine and a nice mix of rain has made for excellent fall fly fishing. From steelhead to the trout rivers across state borders and everything in between, the fishing is very good. I have been enjoying the heck out of our hometown river this fall with fantastic wild trout action on dries. The sunny days the trout will eat the big chernobyls still, and the overcast they will eat the bwo's. It can be tricky, but that's what makes it so great. The nearby Idaho rivers are doing very well. Smaller flies like parachutes and midges are becoming the most important patterns and of course nymph rigs and streamers are find fish everywhere.

For all you steelhead fans out there the catch rates have been pretty good reports our guide crew. Kelby, Travis, Bjorn, and Britten have had some very successful days down on the Grande Ronde. Not as big of fish this season on average, but more typical 4-7lb range steelies. For a low run it hasn't reflected low catch rates. Customers have been reporting the same scenarios.

We are stocked to the gills at the shop with EVERYTHING you could possibly want... from bugs to trout spey, we have got you covered. If we don't have it, it probably isn't worth it! We strive to be well stocked so call or swing by here first and give us a shot!

Keep checking our ONLINE STORE daily/weekly/monthly... well often because it is CONSTANTLY being updated.
