Returning salmon to the Spokane River

5/11 UPDATE - POSTPONED UNTIL JUNE. WILL POST WHEN RESCHEDULED.

How cool would it be to see salmon back in Spokane River?! It would be pretty amazing if you ask us!

Imagine... going down to the river after work and swinging flies... you could potentially hook into a native Redband, cutthroat, wild brown trout... or even a HUGE chinook salmon that had returned from the ocean! It would be pretty incredible to have that opportunity and experience.

The Spokane Riverkeeper has put together a film on salmon recovery in the Spokane and attendees will be able to participate in a Q&A with Coeur D Alene Tribal biologists, Spokane Tribal Biologists, and the leadership of UCUT, DR Michel, to discuss how chinook salmon will soon be swimming again in our basin.
