Methow River Closed

Michael Visintainer - 12/03/12

Methow River Closed for Steelhead Fishing as of December 01, 2012.

The Methow River and other tributaries such as the Wenatchee, Entiat, and Icicle are all CLOSED to fishing as of December 1st, 2012. With lower numbers of returning fish, mostly wild fish, and increased angler traffic the state has closed the river to fishing until further notice.

Bummer, should have gone there sooner! Who knows, sometimes it reopens like it did last year.
