Learn how to properly mend in narrow, defined current seams.
When river levels drop in the late summer some current seams become narrower, faster, and more defined. Fishing these very defined currents can be a little trickier because of the conflicting current speeds between you and the fast slot.
When fishing hard, defined seams you will often find it necessary to mend downstream in order for your fly line to keep pace with your fly. In the video below, I discuss and demonstrate how to properly present flies in narrow, fast current seams keeping your fly in the fishes zone for longer.
