Information at your fingertips

Winter snowpack is critical to many of our favorite river fisheries. If you find yourself curious on how snowpack is shaping up then you have probably researched various snowpack, or SNOTEL, site information. This information is readily available, however, can be a little tricky to find especially with the newer interactive snowpack data map provided through the Natural Resources Conservation Services website.

Our good friend Aaron Banks graciously took the effort and his time to put together a short tutorial video on how to use the newer maps that are loaded with all sorts of snowpack and precipitation data.

Check out his great video and have fun geeking out on the information available! Thanks Aaron!
