Bones, cuda, and sharks... OH MY!
I saw this video pop on our Instagram feed and then again on one of the more popular fly fishing blogs so I thought I'd give it a view. Normally I just skip over most fishing videos, I've seen hundreds, but this one was from the good folks at Catch Magazine and had a catchy title: Indiana Bones.
With the winter blues looming in the near distant future, my mind starts wandering to warmer climates as the thermometer starts it's annual drop. Bonefishing, which is very similar to head hunting for trout, is a great winter escape. For those that have gone you already know how spooky, finicky, and fast these gray ghost can be, but for those that haven't tried their luck at bonefishing you owe it to yourself to try it if you ever get the opportunity.
Indiana Bones is wonderful 10min 19sec video showcasing the beauty of Bahama bonefishing. The solitude, scenery, and fish are all captured on this great film. Plus some excellent footage of a lemon shark crushing a popper around 7:55 in the video! Enjoy!
