Kelby and I floated from Boggan's down to Shu this past Monday. The air was a little brisk when we woke up... 45 degrees, but warmed up to t-shirt weather by noon. Water level was at around 550 cfs and temped below 60 at the launch. No steelhead were caught on this trip. We ended up catching mostly trout (a few clipped) in the faster riffle water. Throughout the day we ended up seeing close to twenty salmon in the deeper pools. I did get one king on the reel, but lost it while fighting down river. Other fish caught were whitefish, suckerfish and bass.
Boggan's will be back open this weekend!!! The building has similar feel to the old building. Construction workers have been very busy trying to get it done for this Saturdays opening.
